The trouble with a photo is that it doesn’t really tell the whole story – you see nothing about the hard work that goes into creating a finished look.
I mean, if I’m perfectly honest, I can rarely take credit for what I look like – it’s the people behind the scenes who’ve done an awesome (or terrible) job. I find it slightly awkward. If someone goes, “I love your hair” post-blowout, am I meant to say thanks? Or should I say what I really think (i.e. “me too, yay!”), and risk sounding arrogant.
It’s a conundrum.
Last night, I was at the UK premiere for The Intent, which is a dark new movie about drugs and gangs. I loved my finished look (that’s a non-arrogant way of saying it, right?!) So here – in all their glory – are the credits:
Hair | Neville
Make-up | Dani for Iconic London
Dress | N12H
Jacket | Quiz
Shoes | Victoria Plimsolls
Bag | Davina Mulford
Tan | Fake Bake by Secret Spa
Thanks, Glam Squad!
