Have you seen the new limited edition Tia Maria gift tins? The jet-setting liqueur brand (owned by an Italian company, founded by a Spanish aristocrat, roots in Jamaica – I know…) has teamed up with Grazia magazine to celebrate 10 years of awesome journalism-y stuff, and the outcome is a series totally on-point gift tins.
It’s not just the tin that’s enjoying a temporary make-over, though – the brains behind Tia Maria have collated a team of four ‘influencers’ (Zara Martin, Danielle Peazer, singer Krystal Roxx and mixologist Jennie Rae Chuter) to help bring the brand to life and attract a wider audience. Which – if the influencers are anything to go by – is likely to be achingly cool and super urban.
I went to the launch party at super-cool new members’ bar Tape (it’s where Café Kaizen used to be) to have a look at the new bottles. Slash get boozed and have fun (party season, innit). Zara and I had what Zara insisted was her own creation but looked (and tasted) suspiciously like an espresso martini… Zara was wearing a velvet high-neck Topshop dress – isn’t it great?
I massively thieved her idea for my next outing – this is the dress I wore to Lilah’s YumiByLilah launch. Sorry, Zara!
Donna Air was there, too. And also in velvet. I have a massive girl crush on Donna’s style. She nails it every time.
