As you know, I am slightly obsessed with little dogs – specifically Snoop, who belongs to my lovely friend Ashley James. So just incase you share my adoration and have your own (lucky thing), you may like to know that there’s a new law being enforced from April 6th this year, which means that all dogs over 8 weeks old must be microchipped.
Which means that dogs are far less likely to go missing, since owners are easily contactable.
To celebrate the changes, Snoop, Ashley and I went to the Dogs’ Trust pop-up event, MicroChippy, for hot dogs and champagne. Hot dogs because they’d partnered with (dog friendly – who knew?!) Bubbledogs on Charlotte Street. Champagne just because.
Snoop had doggy versions of my hot dog, from his own little doggy bowl. All very cute. Until he decided he liked my meal more. Not ideal….!
There was even a hot dog called the Snoop Dog! Definitely wasn’t named after Snoop. Definitely going to pretend it was. Hero..
